This project involved transforming a traditional working farmhouse into a stunning, family-friendly home. When we first visited, the kitchen was a small, dark space, almost hidden within the house’s layout. The new owners wanted a “WOW” kitchen that would serve as the heart of their family life, and our Stamford architectural design team helped bring that vision to life.

To create the perfect space, we reconfigured the layout by removing a few walls and relocating a staircase. A beautiful classical orangery was added, featuring a fully timber structure with elegant stone dwarf walling. The orangery’s design enhances both aesthetics and functionality, flooding the kitchen with natural light and connecting the home seamlessly to the garden. A complementary cream finish against the farmhouse stonework completes the sophisticated, timeless appearance.
