This project involved replacing a small, outdated UPVC structure with a high-quality oak orangery. The previous structure, with its simple canopy, was never comfortable, either too hot or too cold and only usable for a few months each year.

Our Stamford architectural design team transformed the space into a stunning, all-year-round “WOW” room that enhances both the functionality and aesthetic of the home.

The new oak orangery is slightly wider and deeper than the original, creating a generously proportioned space in line with the house’s largest room. At the heart of the design is a beautifully crafted glazed lantern, serving as the room’s focal point while flooding the interior with natural light. This thoughtful combination of size, materials, and design ensures the orangery is both visually impressive and perfectly practical for year-round use.
