Design
As part of our free consultation we come out to conduct a feasibility study and discuss options regarding both design and budget. Following the acceptance of our quote we undertake a site survey and start plotting sketches and designs down on paper.
Planning
Once you are happy with the design we undertake full planning drawings including necessary elevations and floor plans which are submitted to the local authority. We also liaise with the authority on your behalf throughout the planning process to ensure a successful result, negotiating where applicable. We also have a great experience of dealing with conservation areas and listed buildings so can undertake this additional application as well.
Building regs
Once planning has been achieved and you are ready to move to the next stage, Building Reg drawings may be required. Here at Stamford Architectural Design, we are able to provide these for you and your chosen builder, if they are required. We can also assist with structural calcs where necessary.
Construction
We have two fantastic builders that we can recommend for every project and have worked side by side for many years. However some clients already have their own builder, if that’s the case then we are happy to liaise with your chosen contractor as well to ensure all parties are happy.
